As our QlikSense Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our analytics landscape, partnering closely with business units to translate their needs into impactful dashboards and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance our existing Qlik Reporting Solution, ensuring it delivers efficient enterprise analytics and reporting.
- Develop and maintain dynamic, interactive dashboards with engaging visualizations, catering to diverse user needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their analytics requirements and translate them into insightful dashboards.
- Design and create Nprinting reports for wider distribution, fostering informed decision-making.
- Partner with business units to investigate and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring data integrity.
- Build reconciliation applications to support ad-hoc data reconciliation activities.
- Establish a non-production application stream for streamlined business-as-usual operations.
- Document your work meticulously, maintaining clear design documents, technical specifications, and a well-organized repository.
- Optimize and fine-tune reports for optimal performance, especially when handling large datasets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on QlikSense development, design, and maintenance experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL/Postgres SQL.
- Experience in Financial and Investment Management domains.
- Ability to present technical solutions to diverse audiences and secure approval.
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex data issues and resolving them within agreed timeframes.
- Experience collaborating with product vendors and implementation teams.
- Solid understanding of translating business and technical requirements into QlikSense designs and functionalities.
- High preference for a QlikSense Certified Business Analyst or Architect.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles.
- Project Management skills are a plus.
