Responsibilities
- Managing a team of technicians and engineers who are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the communication system.
- Ensure that the team is properly trained and equipped to deliver the service to customers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This involves understanding their needs and expectations and ensuring that the system in meeting those needs.
- Ensuring that the service delivery & service level meets the quality standards set by the customers. This involves monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Managing the service delivery budgets, including resource allocation, cost management, and revenue forecasting.
- Managing service delivery contracts with customers. This includes negotiating terms, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and managing customer expectations.
- Identifying and managing risks associated with service delivery. This involves developing risk management plans and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of risks on service delivery.
- Ensuring that the communication system is properly maintained on a regular basis. This includes conducting routine checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure that the system is operating at peak performance.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in the communication system. This includes troubleshooting, testing, and repairing any equipment or software malfunctions that may occur.
- Managing spare parts and equipment required for the communication system.
- This involves maintaining an inventory of spare parts, ensuring that the required parts are available when needed, and ordering new parts as required.
- Monitoring the performance of the communication system. This includes conducting regular tests and measurements to ensure that the system is operating within specified parameters and identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Technical/Engineering Diploma
- Hands-on work experience in Electronics Security System, PA/EVC Communications and Network etc.
- Supervisory experience in managing small teams
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Good computer skills and working knowledge in AutoCAD and/or Adobe
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated strengths in managing customers and multiple projects across sites.
- Highly flexible and adaptable
- Preferably with a vehicle
