Job Desctription:


  1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local safety regulations and guidelines such as the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, WSH Regulations, and other relevant standards, including regular updates on any changes to these regulations.
  2. Safety Training and Awareness: Coordinate, develop, and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely and maintain a safe working environment.
  3. Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate mitigation measures to prevent incidents and accidents at the workplace.
  4. Safety Inspections and Audits: Carry out routine safety inspections and audits, identifying and addressing any non-compliance issues or safety concerns in a timely manner.
  5. Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate and document workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring that root causes are identified, and corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
  6. Emergency Preparedness: Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure that employees are trained in emergency procedures and that necessary resources are in place.
  7. Workplace Safety Culture: Promote a positive safety culture within the organization, encouraging employees to actively participate in safety initiatives, and fostering open communication regarding safety issues.
  8. Safety Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Oversee the provision, maintenance, and use of safety equipment and PPE, ensuring that all employees have access to and are trained in the proper use of these items.
  9. Safety Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including training, inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident reports, ensuring that documentation is up to date and easily accessible.
  10. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with management, employees, and relevant stakeholders such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), ensuring effective communication and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

- Diploman / Specialist Diploma or above in occupational health and safety or related qualifications.

- Strong independence and good communication in English

- Willing to learn new skills

- 5.5 days work week
