SAP ABAP Consultant with SAP HR

This is a delivery-focused role in an implementation project, managing complex delivery. Candidate must have implementation experience and be able to work as an individual contributor during the implementation.

Responsibilities

  • As a Consultant, you will be working with our client(s) cross-functional teams, IT development team and business users at the consulting level
  • Design, configuration, design, development and customization using SAP ABAP + HCM/HR
  • Work closely with SAP functional consultant to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality.
  • You will also be involved in carrying out in S4 Hana implementation, customization and configuration project(s)
  • Involvement with Human Resources module integration focuses on other SAP-based ERP modules based on business requirements
  • Design and develop program based on the functional requirements.
  • Prepares technical designs document and unit testing.
  • Proposes, robust solution to meet the functional needs.
  • Conducting structured testing internally and with users; Ensuring stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience involved SAP ABAP debugging in Human Resources / HCM with S/4 Conversion
  • Involved in consulting background for more than 3 years’ experience
  • Involved in S4 Hana Conversion projects implementation in consulting environment
  • Strong technical skills in all areas of the ABAP workbench including: List, interactive, & ALV reporting; BAPIs and BDC scripts; SAPscript & SMART Forms; Adobe Forms; Dialog Programming; User-Exits & Customer Enhancements; Performance Tuning; ABAP Objects; Workflow; Analyzing ABAP logs/dumps; Researching SAP Notes
  • Experience with developing interfaces between SAP and non-SAP applications
  • Experience in support testing and data migration experience, as well as drafting of functional specification for reports, interface, enhancement, forms and etc
  • Strong functional and configuration skills in all areas of the HR/HCM modules in a consulting environment in various industries
  • Consulting background is preferred
  • Able to start in a short notice period

  • You must have excellent analytical, presentation and soft skills including communication on how to handle existing clients and be client oriented with excellent problem solving skills
  • You must possess a personal attribute such as creativity, positive thinking, quick learning, imagination, leadership, judgment and maturity, curiosity, strong interpersonal skills, professional integrity and initiative
  • Confident in communicating and presenting at business level to MNC clients.
