We’re currently searching for a Marketing Executive / Assistant Manager for our Film Marketing and Distribution team. The main objective of the role is to create marketing campaigns to promote films and create buzz.
You will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and overseeing marketing campaigns for movie releases in Singapore. You will organize creative campaigns and promotional events for online and offline executions for advertising and social media.
Our ideal candidate will be a detailed planner, skilled at graphics and video editing software, an expert communicator, with great intuition and a passion for movies, especially Chinese-language films.
Job Scope/ Responsibilities
- Responsible/Involved in formulating and creating traditional, digital and social marketing campaigns.
- Craft creative marketing materials – including copywriting, graphic editing and video editing.
- Manage publicity and press relations.
- Track and report box office revenue.
- Liaise with media and promotional partners.
- Manage social media.
- Ensure the smooth running and accurate documentation of department administrative functions.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Minimum Bachelors in Business and/or Marketing (Marketing Communications preferred); Diploma in Business and/or Marketing with relevant experiences will be considered.
- Marketing experience in digital marketing to reach different target audiences.
- Strong interest in films and content marketing trends.
- Familiarity with social media and web analytics.
- Strong computer literacy skills in using Microsoft Office and Social Media Marketing Tools. Video Filming and Editing, Photography and Photoshop skills are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high emotional intelligence
- Able to work independently and be a team player.
- Good organisational skills.
- Attention to detail in composing, typing, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
