Job Description:

  • A highly skilled engineer to drive test strategy, test plan, and characterization plan definition for NPI product development.
  • The ideal candidate will actively involve and drive discussions with DFT for DFT implementation.
  • They will be responsible for engineering and production test hardware definition, including wafer sort probe card and final test loadboard.
  • The engineer will develop test scenario files for test pattern simulation and generation.
  • They will also be responsible for 1st silicon brings up, wafer sort and final test program development, validation, data analysis, and result reporting.
  • Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for product IP characterization, result analysis, report preparation, and review with the designer.
  • The engineer will also be involved in reliability, failure analysis, and characterization test program development.
  • They will work closely with the designer, DFT, application engineer in Europe or Asia counterpart.
  • The engineer will be responsible for yield improvement, test time reduction, customer return analysis, and test solution platform migration.

Job Requirements:

  • A highly qualified engineer with a Degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • The ideal candidate will have test software development experience and skills, including proficiency in C/C++, Perl, Python, and Java programming.
  • Good understanding of semiconductor front-end and back-end manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with industry-standard automated test equipment such as T2000, 93000, and Ultraflex is required.
  • Ideally, the candidate will have some knowledge of DFT, Scan, Memory BIST, NVM, mixed signal testing concepts, and microcontroller theory.
  • The engineer should have excellent communication skills, a detail-oriented work ethic, and be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills to work in a challenging multi-cultural/international environment. They should also have good analysis and problem-solving skills, be highly motivated, and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet timelines.
  • The ideal candidate should be a quick learner and eager to grow their skill set in both hardware and software development. They should also have knowledge of statistical process control, data management, semiconductor yield analysis, STDF software tools (e.g., Yield explorer, Galaxy, Optimal Test, etc.), and Microsoft Office.
