Responsibilities
- Review and process incoming reports of alleged legal rights infringement during the APAC timezone. Key metrics include SLAs, quality, accuracy, and escalation rates;
- Proactively deliver insights from data and trends seen in the queues, and suggest improvements;
- Specifically, the scope of work includes:
- Content review: Responsible for reviewing and analyzing user-submitted reports of intellectual property infringement. This may involve assessing the validity of the report, determining whether the content violates policies or applicable laws, and taking appropriate action such as removing the content or disabling the account.
- Correspondence management: Manage correspondence with users who have submitted reports of intellectual property infringement, as well as with rights holders and their legal representatives. This may involve providing updates on the status of reports, requesting additional information, and communicating decisions regarding content removal or account disablement.
- Data entry and record keeping: Responsible for accurately entering data into systems and maintaining detailed records of all actions taken in relation to reports of intellectual property infringement. This may involve using specialized software or tools to track and manage reports, as well as generating reports and analytics as needed.
- Policy and legal compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations related to intellectual property, as well as internal policies and guidelines. They will be responsible for ensuring that all actions taken in relation to reports of intellectual property infringement are compliant with these requirements.
- Training and development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve their skills and knowledge in the area of intellectual property operations. This may involve attending workshops, webinars, or other training sessions, as well as completing online courses or certifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or masters or equivalent experience;
- Preferably with a background in operations (previous legal or IP experience not required);
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem solving skills;
- Passionate about helping people and maintaining user trust in Facebook;
- Interested in the intersection of legal guidance, policy and free speech on the Internet;
- Intellectually curious, self-motivated and scrappy;
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail;
- Able to act independently across competing priorities and exercise impeccable judgment;
- Fluency in English required and Korean as this role will be managing the market
