- Have the competencies for the fabrication and application of thermal insulation systems, cladding and sealant to pipeworks, while adhering to engineeering standards and HSE regulations and safe working practices.
- Know the relevant laws, regulations, practices and procedures for safe working, and duties regarding reporting lines and procedures.
- Know how to prepare and restore the work area, materials and equipment, and the potential outcomes of doing something wrong in these areas.
- Read and understand relevant engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards and equipment manuals, and follow work instructions and plans and schedules.
- Know what tools and equipment to use and when, and follow the appropriate training, methods and techniques and quality and safety procedures for using them.
- Know the duties for taking care of and securing the tools and equipment.
- Handle various types of digital information, technology and equipment to support work tasks and be able to communicate these information.
