Accounting Assistant with developing Online Gaming Company!

Our client, a mid-size growing online gaming company, has set up operations in Singapore. They seek a candidate aspiring for career growth within a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment characterized by youthfulness and vibrancy. The ideal individual demonstrates autonomy and fosters effective collaboration with HQ, local and regional finance teams, thriving in a dynamic work environment.


Reporting directly to the Finance Lead in Singapore, the role entails close collaboration with the HQ Finance team.

  • 5-day week basis with hybrid work arrangements in place.
  • Office in Central location.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping duties in a timely manner, including bank account management, accounts opening, data management and related.
  • Bank account management, prepare monthly bank reconciliation and AR/AP reconciliation.
  • Responsible for all revenues and expenses records
  • Gatekeeper for monitoring all incoming and outcoming cash flow and fund movements.
  • Processing salary payment, claim and other office expenditures.
  • Support the annual audit and year-end process.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Accountancy or equivalent related discipline
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience in handling full set of accounts
  • Proficient in MS Office, with preferred experience in Chinese accounting systems like Kingdee or Yonyou.
  • Possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken business-level Chinese and English, enabling effective communication with headquarters for all financial and bookkeeping related matters.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of flexibility and multitasking ability to take up assigned tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
