General Job Descriptions
· Handle day-to-day accounting functions including but not limited to account payables/ receivables, bookkeeping, journal entries and reconciliation of bank statements
· Prepare full set of management accounts
· Liaise with auditors on the auditing process, handle statutory accounts and tax submissions, prepare and monitor audit and tax schedules
· Handle payments (Vendors, payroll and other business expenses)
· Ensure compliance with local accounting & reporting requirements
· Any other relevant duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time
Requirements:
· Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
· Experience in ship management/oil trading industry is highly preferable
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Able to work independently and as a team and to take initiative in implementing improvements
· Familiarity with accounting and tax compliance issues (IFRS, SFRS, etc.) preferred
· Must have good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and MYOB
