Astek is offering a role of Mid to Senior Level Backend Developer to be based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- You will be invovled in Cloud Migration, Fixed income and different other aspects/domains.
- Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks
- Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients
- Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud
- Optimize web applications for performance and scalability
- Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing
Requierements:
- Highly proficient and hands on exeperience in C# (.Net Core) or Java.
- Proficient in database technologies such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL.
- Delivery experience in Test-Driven Development, static code analysis, and test automation with high code coverage, coding reviews, CI/CD, feature flags, etc.
- Experience in containerization platforms like OpenShift.
- Experience in AWS services such as S3, API Gateway, RDS, etc.
- Experience in source control management and CI/CD like Github.
- Experience in enterprise software architecture design principles, like Clean Architecture and Domain Driven Design.
- Experience in Agile methodologies such as Agile Scrum, Kanban, or any DevOps frameworks.
- Experience in using Microservices and real-time messaging platforms like Kafka would be an advantage.
