Job Responsibilities
· Source, negotiate, and select vendors that meet the company’s quality, price, and delivery requirements
· Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers
· Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery
· Review and analyse purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders
· Ensure timely delivery of items and follow up with vendors on outstanding orders
· Coordinate invoice/quality discrepancies with vendors
· Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data into SAP system
· Proactively manage supply risks and impact of disruptors on production such as demand fluctuations, component shortages, logistics issues, supplier issues or other
· Ensure engineering change notes are managed and executed timely with minimal impact to production
· Implement all processes to organization standards and support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas of improvement
Job Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Supply chain, Engineering or Business administration
· 5+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, and/or planning preferred
· Relevant working experience within a manufacturing environment in Oil and Gas sector will be an advantage
· Supplier relationship management, including evaluation and development
· Capability to evaluate and mitigate risks in the planning process
· Strong knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP system
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace working environment
