Position Duties
The successful candidate will report to the CFO
You will be involved in the full-spectrum of corporate secretarial work.
This includes:
- Incorporating new companies (private limited, sole proprietorship etc.)
- Transferring corporate secretary appointments for existing companies
- Preparation and drafting of statutory documents (e.g. AGM, EGM, Board Resolution, etc.)
- Other corporate or ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned by the Manager(s)
- Maintaining minutes books and updating records in registers
- Monitoring statutory deadlines
- Processing the Striking-off of companies
- Special tasks and projects assigned from time to time
- Ability to manage complex and voluminous workload without compromising on quality
- Being a proactive and confident individual with excellent communication skills
- Contributing proactively and assisting our technology development team in the further development of our company secretarial and governance software
- Being able to manage positively with the teams with the help of Dashboards reporting the metrics and KPIs of the teams
- Handling the full spectrum of company secretarial duties of private companies
- Give timely, high quality and appropriate advice to the client's situation
- Prepare routine documentation and database maintenance
- Work with the accounting team and auditors to ensure clients' companies are in good compliance
- Provide administrative support and handle ad-hoc assignments
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree Holder in the fields of Business Studies/ Law/Administration/Management or equivalent
- Member of SAICSA and/or ACCA/ISCA would be a plus
- Customer centric, a passion for customer excellence
- Willing to be hands-on as and when required
- Strong knowledge of Companies Act
- Minimum 1-2 years of work related experience gained in reputable corporate services firms and/or in-house corporate secretarial teams
- Possessing high degree of professionalism and responsibility
- Ability to tackle challenges and meet tight deadlines
- Highly motivated, working independently, eager to learn and keen desire to contribute
- Detailed oriented and possessing a high degree of professionalism and responsibility
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
