Job Purpose
Responsible in warehouse daily operation duties of coordination and ensure all requirement document is in place and compliance to rule & regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise all movement of cargo, in & out of the warehouse.
- Liaise with internal & external customer for operation and documentation.
- Monitoring consumption of Diesel including submission of monthly diesel report.
- Monitoring quality objective and submit KPI monthly report.
- Keep track of inventory control for customer.
- Ensure safety compliances (permit to work) and process compliances (Safe work procedure) to the regulation.
- Assist operation activity meets and warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Meets warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
- Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
At least Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain Management or Business Studies
Expertise: 2 years working experience logistics supply operations
Knowledge: Port operation and shipping & transport coordination
Skill: Excel worksheet , Planning, scheduling and Marine deliveries to vessels / land
Having a forklift licence is an advantage
Able to communicate with Chinese Client
Have undergone Shipyard Safety Supervisor Course (SSSC).
Working Conditions
5.5 Working days per week
Could expect to work in stuffy, noisy and dusty environment.
May need to travel out of Singapore occasionally.
Mandatory wearing of appropriate PPE when on duty.
