- Determine the expenses of ship repairs, estimates, subcontracts, procurements, and costing.
- Cultivate and build positive relationships with ship owners and customers.
- Oversee and collaborate with the operations team.
- Determine the approximate bid cost for project modules, ship changes, and repairs.
- Oversee the scope of work, project timeline, and tender documents for repairs.
- Compared to others, provide clients with the best cost.
- Prepare weekly and monthly updates for any vessels that are still work in progress.
- Deliver an estimated cost for repair based on scope of work lists to the ship owners.
- Carry out jobs tendering to the prospective contractors and identify & analyze contractors.
- Determine and negotiate pricing with the invoicing and contractors.
- Other ad hoc tasks may assign.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture.
- With 9-12 years of experience in commercial costing in Marine Industry for Ship Repairs.
- Excellent communication skills
