Key Responsibilities
- Operate vision mixer during live or pre-recorded production.
- Execute directorial cues for transitioning between camera shots and visual elements.
- Monitor and adjust video signals to ensure optimal image quality.
- Collaborate with camera operators to achieve desired visual compositions.
- Contribute to the overall visual aesthetics of the production.
- Assisting with other studio setup, such as Camera, Audio, Lighting, Graphics etc and troubleshooting.
- Contribute creatively to the overall shoot and production.
- Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand requirements for an integrated production
- Attend pre-production meetings to align on creative vision and technical needs.
- Quickly transition between studio operation roles to meet the demands of the production.
- Review and assess visual and audio elements for technical quality and creative adherence.
- Implement measures to continuously improve the quality of the production.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during high-pressure situations.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma in Film & Media or its equivalent.
- Previous experience as a studio vision mixer and familiarity with vision mixing equipment.
- Familiar with software based vision mixers such as Vmix, NewTek Tricaster etc
- Experience with studio operation in a live setting with a strong understanding of studio equipment include switchers, audio, lighting on air graphics will be an added advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of video and audio equipment, including setup and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and switch between roles seamlessly.
- Familiarity with different camera models and audio recording technologies will be an added advantage
