Duties & Responsibilities:
Production Planning
- Responsible for overall Production Planning, Coordination, Scheduling, Dispatching, for Manufacturing of Moulds, SFG and FG.
- Plan and schedule workflow according to Production schedules and Track SFG and FG output.
- Analyze production specifications, plant capacity data, and perform calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and manpower requirements.
- Analyze and formulate reports from production planning and sales order fulfilment such as production reports, Fill Rate Report and Backlog Reports.
- Strategies and develop solutions to improve overall production planning processes and procedures.
- Responsible for updating all planning related procedures deemed required.
- Work Closely and involve in cross departments project to improve productivity and yield.
- Involved in New Product Introduction projects for any new customers and processes, to meet customers, launch date.
- Responsible for inventory management system and manufacturing monitoring system.
Order Fulfilment
- Responsible to gather and collate all customers demand forecast and challenge the input when necessary.
- Understand all market intelligence and drivers that will impact on the forecast and subsequent demand of customers.
- Monthly S&OP meeting with customers and prepare any status on open orders and update potential delays.
- Ensure Planner processed customer sales orders in accordance with procedure.
- Work closely to plan with Purchasing to ensure material availability for manufacturing.
- Be the first point of contact for all customer enquiries.
- Expedite Operations to meet customers orders’ due dates and revise schedule to adapt to any unforeseen circumstances.
- Work closely with Warehouse Personnel and Freight Forwarders to ensure prompt delivery of outgoing finished products to achieve on-time delivery.
- Generate monthly Fulfillment On-Time Report and analysis the gaps for improvement.
Inventory management
- Ensure SFG is replenished based on reorder point policy set for each product type.
- Select the optimum lot size for different product designs to reduce excessive stock and reduce obsolescence.
- Generate monthly SFG and FG Stock Report and review inventory status based on expiry, average sales and any EOL.
- Suggest Material Obsolescence and proceed to dispose according to procedure.
- Continuous efforts to reduce any obsolesce in SFG and FG.
Others
- Propose and implement any Supply Chain Projects to improve workflow and productivity.
- Provide production and logistics support.
- Act as a back-up Purchasing function
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in any Engineering/Business Studies/Supply Chain/Logistics or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of related industry experience in production planning and inventory management
- Proficiency in ERP system with good knowledge of supply chain and materials flow concepts is preferred within manufacturing environment.
- Conversant with manufacturing systems, practices, and processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel)

- Team-player, self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
