Shift duties, no night/overnight
Responsibilities:
- Plan and run occupational rehab therapy services in the Senior Care Centre
- Conduct assessments for SCC clients during admission and periodic reviews.
- Contribute to formulation and follow-up of clients’ Individual Care Plan [ICP] to ensure holistic health and care coverage.
- Plan and conduct group therapy programmes and activities
- Review and revise the program schedule when necessary to enhance quality of the therapy program.
- Maintain proper documentation of therapy records.
- Familiar with dementia issues and ability to manage clients who display behavioral problems (associated with dementia).
- Foster close and warm relationships with clients’ families and caregivers, and exhibit with sincerity the care and respect of clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Qualified and fully registered with AHPC [Allied Health Professions Council].
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in a hospital or eldercare
