Role Overview:
The CTO will be the architect of our technological vision and act as our chief talent champion. You'll craft a technology roadmap designed for scalability and innovation while simultaneously building a world-class team capable of bringing that vision to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Magnet: Develop and execute a robust recruiting strategy to attract, assess, and retain the best engineers, architects, and technology leaders in the industry.
- Team Builder: Build and nurture a diverse, high-performing engineering organization while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented, and empowering culture.
- Technology Strategy: Set a multi-year technology roadmap focused on software architecture, emerging technologies, infrastructure, and security that positions the company for success.

- Architecture & Best Practices: Define and evangelize design standards, coding best practices, and methodologies for development throughout the engineering organization.
- System Reliability: Assure the design and execution of scalable, highly available, and secure systems with focus on disaster recovery and failover protocols.
- Business Alignment: Collaborate strategically with the C-suite to ensure technology initiatives drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, and meet overall business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with product, design, marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams to champion technical excellence and create exceptional user experiences.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the development budget, justify technology investments based on potential ROI, and effectively allocate resources.
Required Qualifications:
- Talent Scout: 10+ years in progressive technology leadership roles with a proven track record of building top-performing engineering teams.
- Technical Depth: Expertise in modern software development principles, distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and API-driven integrations.
- Scalability Mindset: Extensive experience in architecting and deploying cloud-based systems that prioritize scalability, performance, and security (GCP or AWS preferred).
- Team Builder: Passion for attracting top talent, mentoring teams, and cultivating a strong, empowering organizational culture.
- Business Acumen: Understand the role of technology in driving revenue growth, market disruption, and competitive advantage.
- Excellent Communication: Superb communicator capable of explaining complex concepts to executives, partners, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders.
