Core responsibilities
- To support the role and responsibility of testing and commissioning for Railway Project
- To coordinate with construction/ interface manager and planner to execute T&C program
- To control and manage or act on the troubleshooting requirement
- To assist modification or repair of equipment when necessary
- Review and designs for DC traction power supply systems for accuracy and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Prepares proposals and estimates in accordance with customer specifications.
- Prepares technical customer presentations for management review.
- Perform computer simulation study for AC network or DC load analysis.
- Perform protection coordination study for both AC and DC power supply system
- Develop and propose corrective actions for test procedures and test plans.
- Lead the technical support effort to the customer during commissioning of the design of complex systems.
Job requirements
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience, with working experience in railway projects
- Good knowledge in Power Electrical and Power Supply Distribution system in terms of electrical design engineering and Testing of DC Traction Railway System.
- Ability to develop and maintain interface systems
- Hands-on experience in applying quality procedures and safety standards in a professional product development environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
