Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.
THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture, and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

Job Description:
- Engage relevant internal and/or external stakeholders to identify research and evaluation needs/questions.
- Conduct literature reviews.
- Conceptualize and design the studies/projects including the methodology (sampling method, test materials/surveys to be used etc…) and the timeline (project milestones)
- Manage all aspects of the studies/projects from start to completion.
- Conduct fieldwork, interviews, experiments, concept tests, etc. to gather data.
- Conduct data preparation and cleaning on the gathered data.
- Conduct statistical analyses on the cleaned data.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations for conferences and manuscripts for journal publications.
- Support operations of the research unit
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and above in social work, psychology, or related fields
- At least two years of relevant experience is preferred (fresh graduates with research being a core component of their degree, are welcome to apply)
- Experience with at least one quantitative analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, R and/or similar tools.
- Analytical, organized, and good interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in social service sector would be an added advantage.
