The candidate will be responsible for:
Account management role:
- Managing the execution of all pre and post-sales processes; generating proposals, contracts, and invoices, in line with the company’s standard operating procedure
Sales & Business Development role:
- Identifying, evaluating, and pursuing new and existing leads and opportunities to meet growth strategies
- Qualifying quality prospects for cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Conducting sales and partnership presentations with key prospects such as bellwether companies, associations, media and more.
- Identify and attend local and international industry events (whenever necessary) to generate sales leads, form strategic partnerships and more.
- Market research and data mining - actively sourcing for new leads through researching for competitive events, latest updates on industry news portal and other platforms
- Maintaining direct contact with key customers and partners from multiple industry verticals
- Preparing budget projections, marketing plans, sales acquisition strategies for all Messe Berlin events
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any relevant field
- Preferably 3 years of sales or business development experience
- Experience in the Meetings and Events industry and/ or B2B Sales will be preferred
- Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent team player
- Ability to travel as required
