Job Description:
- Lead SCM process by providing market insight and outlook, business update and opportunity optimization.
- Materials planning to ensure stock requirements are met accordingly.
- Solving any customer or suppliers on product specification and technical data matters.
- Constantly review and improve supply chain systems and procedures.
- Formulate SCM strategies and action plan.
- Develop and build strong relationship with local and overseas suppliers/ vendors and assist in day-to-day customer service activities.
- Supervise & handle Import & Export shipment arrangement.
- Manage all license requirement for Import/Export & transportation with compliance to Government Authority of Singapore.
- Perform supply chain cost analysis and manage cost efficiently.
- Develop good vendor management with warehouse personnel to meet objectives in area of adequately inventory control.
- Ad hoc assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or any Engineering filed.
- At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the SCM or related field is required for this position.
- Preferably with related experience in Chemical.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Hands on experience in using Microsoft Navision system and strong in Microsoft Office, especially Excel would be an advantage.
- Experienced in ISO 9001,14001,45001.
- Ability to prioritize work-load, make systematic and logical decisions under pressure.
- Possess an entrepreneurial ‘can do’ mindset, able to work in a start-up environment.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills and sense of ownership.
- Hardworking and willing to go extra mile.
