Job Description:
- Regularly inspect, test, and maintain valves and related components to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Diagnose and repair any issues with valves, including leaks, malfunctions, or other problems.
- Maintain detailed records of valve inspections, tests, and repairs for compliance and quality control purposes.
- Ensure that all valves meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, including NFPA, UL, and FM Global standards.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on valve maintenance and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training in valve maintenance, such as a technical certificate or associate's degree, may be preferred.
- Previous experience in valve maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting, is usually required.
- Familiarity with clean agent and fire suppression products, as well as relevant safety and quality standards, is important.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, as well as attention to detail, are essential for this role.
