Responsibilities
- Develop Software using Agile and/or waterfall methodology.
- Work closely and collaborate with the Business Analysts and Quality Engineers/Test Consultants for user stores elaboration, test automation, bug fixes etc.
- Work with deployment team/DevOps team in setting up continuous integration, build and release automation.
- Provide estimates for stories during sprint planning for Agile maintenance project or service requests / enhancements.
- Convert acceptance criteria into automated unit tests.
- Support production issues and duty rotation for after-office-hours support when needed.
Requirement
- Possess at least a recognized IT/Computer Science Degree or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years above of Appian Development experience, but not limited to Java, J2EE, Web, Mobile, SQL, SFTP, shell scripting.
- Relevant certifications (eg. Java SE 8 programmer certification will be an advantage)
- Must have database knowledge and have good experience on SQL scripts.
- Good experience in software development and maintenance using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in problem identification, root cause analysis and resolution for technical to application related defects.
- Experience in required cloud environment and server administration and maintenance.
- Experience in required DevOps software development tools and methodologies.
