Job Responsibilities
- Operate the process accordance with the Standard of Operations and comply strictly to safety, quality and environmental guidelines.
- To interface daily with production plant so as to enhance collaboration and speed up every activity.
- Carry out small batch blending productions.
- Report all process/equipment/environmental abnormalities, incidents and/or near misses. Take part in further investigation when required.
- Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning and to participate in maintenance activities and shut-down/start-up of sections.
- Assist in training of new technicians.
- Ensure export is properly carried out and right material is being sent out.
- Carry out inventory control and ensure proper usage.
- Carry out scheduled housekeeping activities.
- Suggest new ideas to improve the existing facilities in the packing division.
- Any other duties as and when required.
Job Requirements
- Possess at least a Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in chemical/ petrochemical industry.
- Forklift license would be an added advantage.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Able to work under fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Entry level candidates are welcome to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Must be able to work on 12-hours rotating shift in Jurong Island.
