We are inviting candidates for the position of:
Digital Account Director
The Account Director is responsible for managing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, overseeing the successful delivery of services, including publishing content to websites, and managing the operational aspects of the agency to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. This role specifically focuses on handling a major client within the agency and involves performing quarterly reviews and assessments. Effective internal communications across teams are required to ensure seamless collaboration and project execution. This position will be reporting to the Digital Platform Director.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with a major client, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for all account-related matters.
· Understand the major client's business objectives, challenges, and opportunities, and develop strategies to meet their needs effectively.
· Foster clear and open internal communications across teams to ensure a cohesive and collaborative approach to client projects and campaigns.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, strategy, and project management, to ensure the successful execution of projects, campaigns, and the publishing of website content for the major client.
· Lead and oversee the development of account plans, proposals, and presentations specifically tailored for the major client, including website content strategies.
· Monitor and manage account budgets for the major client, ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints and according to the agreed-upon scope, including website publishing efforts.
· Oversee the operational aspects of the agency for the major client, including website content publishing, resource allocation, workflow management, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
· Perform quarterly reviews and assessments of the major client's account, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategic adjustments as needed.
· Identify opportunities for operational and website content publishing improvement for the major client, implementing best practices to enhance the agency's overall performance.
· Provide leadership and mentorship to account management teams working with the major client, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
· Track and analyze key account metrics for the major client, providing regular reports to management and the major client on account performance and operational efficiency.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and incorporate relevant insights into client strategies, website content publishing, campaigns, and operational processes for the major client.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
· Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in a client-facing role within an agency or related industry, with a focus on managing client accounts and overseeing website content publishing for a major client.
· Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles, as well as a solid grasp of digital marketing strategies, website publishing tools, and technologies.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and insights to make informed strategic, operational, and website content publishing decisions.
· Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex client, operational, and website publishing situations effectively.
