The Digital Technology Department in OSIM works together as a team to ensure that the final product is programmed to meet the needs and wants of the consumer, whilst, incorporating the latest and most desirable technology to remain competitive in the market. This department comprises of the Product Owners, UI/UX, Mobile Application, IOT as well as the Digital QA group. Job Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire backend application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Troubleshoot and debug backend applications
- Develop unit tests to improve backend code quality
- Assist Senior backend engineer on projects
- Assist in the operation of the cloud service, e.g. monitoring, alerting, logging and troubleshooting
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years relevant experience with RESTful service development
- Basic understanding of programming skills with C# and .Net Core (python is a plus)
- Basic understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience of SQL database
- Experience of working in an Agile (scrum) team
- Experience of using GIT command line
- Proactive and accurate communication skill and team work
- (Plus Point) Experience of cloud service e.g. AWS, Azure or Tencent services
- (Plus Point) NoSQL database (e.g. Redis)
- (Plus Point) Good command of Mandarin, both written and spoken (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking partners/stakeholders)
