Jacobs would like to welcome a Project Engineer to join our Water business in Singapore. You will have unlimited opportunities to work on multiple water projects across Singapore. Main responsibilities:
- Co-leading with Project Manager(s) on multiple water projects, mainly major drainage infrastructure projects, large transmission pipelines and coastal adaptation studies.
- Proactively lead the permitting/consultation process various statutory authorities and utility agencies.
- Liaise with clients and act as the contact point together with the Project Manager.
- Co-chair the Client meetings with PM and prepare meeting minutes.
- Carry out hydraulic calculations (stormwater modeling and pressure pipes).
- Occasionally carry out site supervision for site investigation works, pipe laying works as required by the Project Manager.
- Prepare tender specifications and other deliverables.
To be a successful candidate you shall possess:
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, from a university recognized by BCA or Singapore PEB
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure works. Experience in coastal engineering works will be an added advantage
- The ability to read engineering drawings; and carry out hydraulic calculations (stormwater modelling and pressure pipes) will be an added advantage
- Conversant in using MS Office including MS Project, possess basic navigational skills to use CAD software (Microstation, AutoCAD)
- Self-driven and able to work in a team
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
