The organisation is looking for a Tax Manager with similar vision to lead the global tax strategy, mitigate exposure for the business.
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Controlling, you will:
- Be responsible for leading the tax team on global tax matters for the organisation, managing 1 headcount in the team
- Works closely with finance leaders to spearhead strategies for global tax function, provide tax advisory to senior stakeholders
- Optimise global tax structure and minimise the Group's direct and indirect tax cost and exposure
- Enhance the Group's transfer pricing model, coordinating with internal and external consultants to mitigate risks for the organisation
- Ensure all global tax compliance obligations are met, accurate reporting of tax returns consistent with the planning structure
- Manage existing tax incentives, global business development projects to explore new grants and tax incentives for the business
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors Degree graduate in Accountancy, ATP/CA qualified with at least 7 years of working experience in Tax matters
- Big 4 tax candidates with international tax exposure and/or working experience with MNC in full spectrum tax role
- Industry knowledge in maritime sector will be advantageous
- Strong technical knowledge and application of accounting standards, successful execution of tax strategies for APAC, global region
- Strategic tax leader who is confident to lead discussions with HQ leaders/parent company
