Guide, supervise and oversees tasks assigned for room attendants and contractors.
Prepare daily rooms allocation report for room attendants and conduct roll calls.
Ensure proper use, care and storage of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and protective wear etc.
Ensure wall areas, floors and carpets are kept clean at all times.
Ensure all keycards and mobile phones are returned by the room attendants into storage areas.
Handle guest enquiry & complaints and ensure preventive maintenance schedule work are carried out.
Monitor and control staff overtime, assist in amenities inventory.
Counsel subordinates when necessary
Carry out room inspection to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness of the rooms and replenishment of the amenities.
Carry out public area inspection to ensure proper maintenance & cleanliness.
Maintain individual pantry amenities stock availability for operation usage and ensure cleanliness in pantry areas.
Follow up with works order for defects jobs/works.
Notify and follow up with front office for any missing or damaged items.
Conduct orientation and training for new housekeeping staff.
Set up and coordinate room decorations.
Planning of the crash program for section floor.
Conduct performance appraisal for room attendants.
Submit daily reports to the AEH.
Perform any other duties assigned.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Able to perform shift work and work on weekend.
