Responsibilities
- Coordinate with manning agents for selection of crew and officers
- Perform verification of crew qualifications and experience
- Conduct briefings for Masters / Chief Engineers before joining vessel.
- Manage daily operations of crewing department
- Plan and implement crew schedule, rotation and documentation
- Interact with crew for all welfare issues
- Arrange hotel and accommodation for crew
- Ensure internal records and company systems are updated.
- Attend to all ship staff queries related to human resource issues
- Manage and update crew certificates and personal details
- Ensure that vessels are meeting the MLC requirements
Requirements
- Min Diploma in any discipline
- At least 2 years of crewing experience
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Good command of English and able to manage crew from various nationalities
