Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Shared Service Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, credit cards payment, and expense management.
- Maintain accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
- Support the Finance Manager in communicating financial information and providing assistance to internal stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries promptly and provide accurate financial data as needed
Taxation
- Assist in compiling accurate tax-related information.
Strategic Planning
- Support budget development and monitor adherence to financial goals.
- Assist in maintaining internal controls and safeguarding assets.
- Contribute to developing financial policies and procedures.
Internal & External Audits
- Support audits by providing documentation and addressing queries.
- Implement policies and procedures to prevent fraud and errors.
- Resolve audit findings and deficiencies.
Process Improvement Through Integration of Information Technology
- Operate accounting information systems efficiently and effectively
- Analyze financial data and provide KPI insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Support HR/Finance team with office administrative matters.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional certification.
- Min. 3 years of relevant working experience in accounts payable and receivables.
- Strong accounting principles, financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office suite.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and Salesforce is a plus
This role is currently only open to Singaporeans/ PRs.
This position will be hybrid.
