Adecco, in collaboration with a leading manufacturer of food packaging products, is at the forefront of providing innovative solutions in the packaging industry.

As part of its expansion strategy in the APAC region and the establishment of a manufacturing plant in Malaysia, our partner seeks to fill a critical position: HR Manager APAC. This newly created role is integral to the company's growth trajectory and will be responsible for overseeing HR operations across the region. This role will report directly to the Senior HR Manager APAC/EMEA and the local Managing Director APAC.

This pivotal role requires an individual with a strategic mindset and a strong foundation in HR management.


The Job:

Are you a seasoned HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the HR function in a dynamic organization? Look no further! We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to take charge of the full spectrum of HR activities.

  • Recruitment: Lead the recruitment process to attract top talent across various functions and levels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cultural values.
  • HR Team Setup: Establish and lead the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment conducive to achieving organizational goals.
  • Learning and Development (L&D): Develop and implement L&D initiatives tailored to the specific needs of employees in the APAC region, fostering continuous skill enhancement and career growth opportunities.
  • Occasional Travel: Travel may be required to support HR initiatives across different locations.

The Talent:

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with a track record of success in similar roles
  • Bachelor's degree in HR management or related field.
  • Experience in start-up HR environments, with a proven ability to build HR processes and systems from the ground up.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with Chinese stakeholders.
