Job Description & Requirements
-Supervise for workers to Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they t around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using power and hand tools.
- Supervise for workers to Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels.
- Supervise workers to Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise.
-Supervise workers to Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results.
- Manage to Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly.
- Perform to manage workers to Create decorative wall and oor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms.
- Perform to manage workers to Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles.
-Perform to manage workers to Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs.
-To assist in contract administration, prepare progress claims and liaise with the Client's representative on claims and variation cost
-Perform measurements for quantities
-Attend site, progress claim, tender interview and Consultant/ Technical meetings
- Involve in all quantity surveying and contract administration activities for the projects.
-Prepare and submit tenders including quantity taking off and pricing.
-Prepare tender submission and post tender measurement, handle monthly progress claim.
-Valuing and Preparing Progress Claims and Sub-Contract Progress Payments
-Responsible for claims, variation orders, cost analysis, monitoring and estimation or budget cost for projects
-Conducting site measurements
-Upon completion of each project, to monitor the respective project during the defects liability period
-Support QS Team and any ad-hoc jobs/duties assigned
Requirements:
-Degree in Engineering.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, AUTO CAD (2D & 3D), PDF - X Change
-Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled conditions (heat, cold, outdoors)
-Ability to supervise Tiling workers
-Willingness to work overtime
-must have problem solving skills
-Willing to work midnight shift
-No Skin Allergy to cement product
-Min 5 Years supervision experiences
-Min 1 to 2 years of relevant experience Prefer
-Able to work in harsh environment
-Good Quality Control without compromising productivity
-Able to read Construction drawing and Understand Office Documents
