- To give direction to the Contractor for any testing or investigation work required as per Contract compliance.
- To liaise, coordinate and cooperate with Consultants to resolve on-site design and technical/ coordination issues in a timely manner.
- To attend & provide timely and quality advice to the other Site Staff/ RTO in resolving problems.
- To attend relevant On-Site and Off-Site Work Inspections.
- To attend and report on Mock-Up / Prototype Reviews.
- To liaise on with Contractor’s Construction Manager on all issues related to the Works Compliances, Site Safety and Health Environmental upkeeps.
- Ability to administer contracts professionally and manage site team is essential.
- Ability to monitor progress and ensure that work done and materials used are in accordance with approved specifications, codes, standards and regulations, and to work with the Project Team, QP, and contractors to rectify any non-conformance.
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in C&S related field is required for this position.
- Fully conversant with Building Control Act and Regulations & MOM regulations on building works. Able to systematically maintain site records, contract documents and meet reporting requirements under Building Control Act.
- Relevant experience in installation of tidal gates, large valves, roller gates, stop logs and penstocks in tunnel, sewer, waterworks and water reclamation plants.
- Registered with BCA-IES as Resident Technical Officer
