As a Pre-Sales Manager, you will be an integral part of our sales organization, responsible for leading and coordinating pre-sales activities to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and customer-facing skills to effectively support the sales team and engage with clients in the pre-sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Strategy:
· Develop and execute pre-sales strategies in alignment with overall sales objectives and company goals.
· Collaborate with sales leadership to define target markets, identify key prospects, and tailor pre-sales approaches to address specific customer needs and challenges.
Technical Expertise:
· Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and solutions, as well as industry trends and competitive landscape.
· Serve as a subject matter expert on technical aspects of our offerings, providing insights and recommendations to both internal teams and external clients.
Customer Engagement:
· Engage directly with prospective clients to understand their business requirements, technical challenges, and objectives.
· Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical workshops to showcase the value proposition of our solutions and address customer concerns.
Solution Design and Proposal Development:
· Collaborate with sales and product teams to design customized solutions that meet customer requirements and align with their strategic objectives.
· Develop high-quality proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation to articulate the benefits and features of our solutions and address customer needs effectively.
Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
· Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights, recommendations, and best practices to support their decision-making process and foster long-term partnerships.
Sales Support and Enablement:
· Provide ongoing support and assistance to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, including solution scoping, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions.
· Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to enhance the sales team's understanding of technical features, competitive positioning, and market trends.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
· Proven experience in pre-sales or technical consulting roles within the software, technology, or IT industry.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers at all levels of the organization.
· Solid technical background and proficiency in understanding complex technical concepts and translating them into business value.
· Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Familiarity with eProcurement systems, UI/UX revamping of legacy systems, Cloud Computing and Software as a Service is a plus.
