Responsibilities:
- Manage the full spectrum of day-to-day finance and accounts operations
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that are aligned with company objectives and local regulations through necessary automation or digitalization
- Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations, including timely and accurate filings
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements reports, and analyses for both internal and external stakeholders
- Business and financial modelling, and to work closely with Business Unit Head to identify areas for improvement
- Conduct research and analysis on competitors and industry, identify strategic implications and/or opportunities
- Support the Senior Leadership team on ad-hoc business expansion activities and fund raising exercises
Requirements:
- Possesses a degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or a related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance role;
- Superior mathematical skills; strong in numbers;
- Strong leadership skills and has at least 5 years of experience leading a team;
- Understanding of data privacy standards;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; good public speaking skills;
- Has a deep understanding of business principles and practices;
- Has superior attention to detail;
- Excellent organisational and planning skills;
- Must be hands-on and work with operations to achieve business excellence;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
- Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills;
- Proficient in computer and Microsoft application software;
