Securities and Futures Act (SFA) to conduct regulated activities in Asset Management. Swiss-Asia provides
platform services for Hedge Fund Managers and Private Bankers in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Direct Report: Reporting directly to the Team Leader
Middle & Back Office, HEDGE FUNDS
Primary Responsibilities and Oversight:
- Primarily focused on handling of Hedge Funds (both Cayman and VCCs)
- Supporting day-to-day Middle and Back Office operations
- Monitor operational and risk metrics and escalate potential issues or anomalies
- Review NAV reporting packs
- Reconcile accounts, or reviewing reconciliations prepared by Offshore team and correcting any variances in a timely manner
- Assisting with the Financial Audit of Funds
- Primary point of contact for Level 1 support for allocated Hedge Fund Managers
- Post compliance approval, liaise with investor and fund administrator regarding subscriptions and redemptions
- Broker account setup for existing fund
- Check accuracy of invoices and set up for timely payment
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Maintain full log of tasks and activities
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term goals and objectives
- Communicate regularly with Team Leader and Management regarding day-to-day matters
- Implement decisions made by the Team Leader and Management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- 2 to 4 years’ relevant experience in Hedge Fund middle and back-office operations (With Hedge Fund or Fund Accountant)
- Experience creating, deploying, and automating operational systems and processes.
- Understanding and experience with the asset management and/or hedge funds industry is prerequisite
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage clients
