About Our Client
Our client is a US-based MNC specialising in plastics manufacturing. With a manufacturing facility located in the North of Singapore, they are currently seeking a HR Manager to lead the end to end HR full spectrum responsibilities within the plant. This role will report directly into the Global HR Director and manage 1 direct report.
Job Description
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure the timely filling of vacancies
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, communication, and employee engagement
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
- Oversee and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and other changes
- Manage the annual performance review process and provide guidance to managers on goal-setting and performance improvement
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related majors
- At least 8 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Info-tech system will be an added advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
