Responsibilities
Client management (40%)
- Develop and maintain good relationships with customers to build a client base
- Assist clients with the selection process, suggesting craft products based on their needs/requirements
- Deliver craft products (ceramics, lacquerware) to customer sites (Mostly Restaurants)
Department store counter management (40%)
- Attend meetings with relevant parties/stakeholders in the department store
- Arrange shifts for the department store counter sales promoters
- Conduct inventory stock take and arrange for additional deliveries when necessary
- Deliver new craft products (ceramics, lacquerware) to the department store counter
- Conduct regular checks to collect feedback in order to stay up-to-date with consumer trends and needs
Gallery management (20%)
- Attending to customers when necessary
- Facilitating and supporting the general operations of the gallery
- Upkeeping of the gallery, in line with the company’s communication and promotion strategy
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Min 3 years of sales experience, preferably for similar ceramics/lacquerware products
- Previous experience supervising a team
- Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers
- Interest in Japanese craftware (ceramics, lacquerware) and culture
- Prior work experience in the F&B industry and interest in food is strongly preferred
- Prior work experience in Japanese company & comfortable with Japanese work culture will be advantageous
