Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Executive & Senior Executive to oversee elder care services and community outreach initiatives at our Active Ageing Centre. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving the well-being of seniors and adept at fostering strong community partnerships.
Job Responsibilities:
· Oversee and direct the day-to-day functions of the Active Ageing Centre in accordance with directives from AAC senior management and MOH/AIC.
· Create a comprehensive Community Outreach Strategy within the service area to meet the yearly engagement objectives for seniors.
· Enhance existing partnerships and identify new community collaborators to cater to the needs of elderly individuals in the locality.
· Actively involve community collaborators to collaborate on community initiatives benefiting the broader populace.
· Regularly evaluate activities within the Active Ageing Centre alongside the team to ensure compliance with the five domains stipulated by MOH/AIC.
· Prepare and deliver requisite reports promptly to AAC senior management and MOH/AIC.
· Supervise and empower staff members to optimize their abilities and deliver professional services to elderly clients.
· Oversee staff training and competencies while maintaining accurate training records.
· Maintain proper documentation of operational aspects including networking, incidents, revenue, and expenditures.
· Fulfill any additional tasks and obligations assigned by the Manager.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree/Diploma from an accredited University or Polytechnic. Preferably in the field of Social Work or Gerontology.
· Diploma in Business Admin with a passion for serving the elderly community can also be considered.
· Preferably with at least one year of experience in an eldercare setting for Senior Executive Role.
· With strong interpersonal skills, both a team player as well as able to work independently.
· Be able to work in the evening and on weekends when necessary/required.
· Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and administrative skills.
· Adaptable, responsive to change, patient and resilient.
