Editorial Internship

Think Tank Studio is looking for an Editorial Intern to create and execute content for our in-house publications, Represent, Present Perfect and Broader Perspective.
Objective
- Develop and execute content plans
- Contribute to the editorial output of the studio
- Work with the studio’s teams to produce content for both internal and external editorial projects
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong writing and content production capabilities with the ability to multitask in a collaborative environment
- A genuine interest in research, writing and reaching out to youths
- An openness to learn and grow
Core responsibilities
CONTRIBUTE to the conceptualisation and execution of our magazines
- Create a range of content for our publications and projects for both digital and print mediums.
- Conduct research to understand our target audience and how we can better meet their needs.
- Generate ideas for articles and stories with the writing staff.
- Pitch and propose ideas for our publications.
- Edit and re-write articles and stories, some of which may be returned to the writers for revision.
- Learn to understand context and design’s impact on content curation and apply this to the work.
UPHOLD our writing unit standards
- Work with writing staff (full-time and/or freelance), designers and other editors.
- Proof-read and copy write for any other Company related publications or projects.
- Attend any relevant meetings, events and conferences, and make presentations when necessary.
General
- You must be able to organise and manage your own time and project schedules effectively or be willing to learn.
Team Structure: The Editorial Intern will work under the direct supervision of the Editors as part of the Editorial unit
