Roles & Responsibilities [Senior Research Engineer]
· Manage the R&D project and ensure that the deliverables are delivered on time.
· Ensure that the work and tasks of the project are well integrated within time and budget constraints.
· Identify and translate industry trends and customer needs into research deliverables and future strategic business needs.
· Work with team to source, develop and apply new treatment methods /processes /technologies.
· Able to critically analyze data and draw conclusions and recommendations on projects and advises go/no-go decisions
· Able to optimize the operation treatment as well as identifying the area for improvement.
· Regularly and effectively communicate the progress to other teams through meetings, reports, and presentations
· Organize meetings and intermediate project progress reviews
· Document ideas and contributions to intellectual property, such as technical report, presentation, paper, etc.
· Devote a high priority on assessing and addressing safety risks.
Roles & Responsibilities [Research Engineer]
· Water samples and membrane foulant analysis by using advanced analysis equipment, such as TOC, LC-OCD, SEM-EDX, UV, etc.
· Work with team to ensure all lab equipment calibrations and inspections are up to date.
· Control, monitor, and maintain the equipment and treatment processes in on-site pilot plant.
· Analysis & update experimental results.
· Assist in optimization of operation treatment as well as identifying the area for improvement.
· Technical report preparation.
· Work with the team to help generate relevant SOPs (standard operating procedures).
· Ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory and pilot plant and be responsible for the safety and environmental compliance of the new processes.
· Work with team to source, develop and apply new treatment methods /processes /technologies.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree (or above) in Chemistry / Chemical/ Environmental/ Material Engineering or other equivalent
· Fundamental/Empirical understanding of water treatment processes and chemicals innovations.
· At least 1-2 years of relevant working experiences / industry is preferred.
· Strong communication skills in both oral and written English.
· Have enthusiasm for R&D work.
· Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a team to completion of a task.
