Logistics Manager
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Renewable / Convertible)

Our client is a fully integrated, global immunotherapy powerhouse who have been working on automated and digitized processes and build continuously capabilities for specialized manufacturing, either for individualized vaccines or for large-scale products like COVID-19 vaccine.
Job Purpose
- Responsible for all movement and distribution of pharmaceutical products at Singapore site.
- Reports to the SCM Head based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Developing logistics strategies: Responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- Coordinating transportation: Responsible for coordinating the transportation of pharmaceutical products, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time, and ensuring that products are transported in appropriate conditions.
- Analysing data: Responsible for analysing logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings, while ensuring that data is handled in compliance with GDP.
- Ensuring trade and quality compliance: Responsible for ensuring that all logistics operations are compliant with relevant regulations and laws, such as Customs, GDP, as well as ensuring that products are handled in compliance with applicable regulations such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Documentation and Recordkeeping: Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate documentation for all supply chain activities. Ensure proper recordkeeping to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements by consulting the setup of new processes or the improvement of existing processes.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential compliance and safety risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ownership of any transport verification activities on site.
- Process owner for transport management system, and actively support during implementation.
- Subject matter expert for all cold chain activities on site. Support future site projects with this knowledge as and when requested.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, ensuring business continuity and compliance during unforeseen events.
- Collaborating with other departments: Responsible for collaborating with other departments, such as production, quality control and quality assurance, to ensure that logistics operations are aligned with overall business objectives, while ensuring that products are handled in compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Stakeholders’ Interface
- Local: QA, QC, Production, Engineering, Procurement, Site Operations, IT, MSAT
- External: Global SCM, Global Customs, Clinical trial supply management, Logistics service provider and relevant Singapore authorities as required.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Logistics and warehousing operations; with 8+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in the GMP environment
- Extensive cold chain logistics experience.
- Good understanding of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) mandated by HSA.
- Experience working in QMS / ERP / Transport Monitoring systems
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Science or Supply Chain disciplines is ideal
- Sense of ownership and honesty (proactive handling of errors)
