Job description
· Oversee and manage the HR & Administration and IT team and functions
· Develop and implement HR & IT strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
· Work closely with leadership to anticipate and address organizational needs through workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
· Develop and execute strategies for talent development, performance management, and employee engagement.
· Oversee the development and update of HR & IT policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements and ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain accurate HR records while ensuring data security.
· Lead the recruitment process and implement effective onboarding programs to facilitate seamless integration of new employees to enhance post-hire success and talent retention.
· Manage employee relations, offering conflict resolution guidance, while also implementing and enforcing HR policies and procedures to foster a positive work environment.
· Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure the company's pay structure is competitive and aligned with industry standards.
· Closely supervise the development and implementation of performance management and employee retention strategies.
· Plan an appropriate schedule and initiate performance reviews for Directors. Prepare the necessary documents and dates for the discussion and develop performance improvement plans when necessary.
· Thoroughly assess the company's business environment, engage in active discussions with managers to identify training requirements, and design training programs.
· Implement initiatives and provide support for employee growth and career development.
· Foster a culture of open communication, employee recognition, and proactive addressing of employee concerns and feedback.
· Oversee administrative functions, including facilities management, office operations, and vendor relationships.
· Oversee the optimization of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cybersecurity measures.
· Exercise leadership in the operation of HR & Administration & IT team, serving as a mentor and providing support to subordinates.
Job requirement
· A bachelor’s degree or diploma in HR, Business, or a related field.
· Proven experience as an HR & IT leader, with at least 7 years in a senior management role.
· Minimum 7 years’ experience in food-related industry dealing with cream & margarine, oils & fats and plant-based foods.
· Possess a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills, effective team management capabilities.
· Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict resolution, demonstrating the ability to maintain professionalism and personal accountability.
· Exhibit the capacity for strategic HR planning aligned with organizational goals, ensuring the alignment of HR practices with the company's overall objectives.
· Able to communicate in both English and Japanese to liaise with Japan stakeholders
