Job Responsibilities:
The expected responsibilities are;
- Archive the department's strategic mission through managing and motivating the team members.
- Plan and define the department strategies and drive it with getting internal approval and consensus.
- Manage the department's performance daily, weekly, monthly basis.
- Manage sales documents like a quotation, invoice, contract, and agreement.
- Foster good relationships with the client to get new opportunities.
- Manage and monitor the IT projects under this department from quality, progress, cost, and resources.
- Explore new client and business partners to get new opportunities.
- Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organisational units.
- Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.
- Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
Experiences & Requirements:
- Candidates should have either (1a) or (1b):
o (1a) At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of these faculties:
・Computer Science
・Information Technology
・Programming & Systems Analysis
・Science (Computer Studies)
o (1b) Minimum total three years’ work experience in at least one of these job titles:
・Application development manager
・Head of applications development
・Software and applications manager
・Software development manager
- Over 15 years’ experience in IT projects of Financial Institution.
- Experience as Line manager.
- Possess strong communication skills to communicate with Japanese-speaking and English-speaking stakeholders and understand technical documents written in Japanese or English.
- Proactive stance and try to find the work to be done by themselves.
- Knowledge of Financial industry domain.
- Adhere the compliance.
- Experience working with Japanese companies and understanding of Japanese culture to build a better relationship with customers.
