Reporting to the Head of Operations, the incumbent is responsible for the production planning for fresh vegetables and fruits distributor company in Singapore.
- Manage and provide reliable production planning and delivery scheduling to meet both company's and customer's requirement.
- Manage and control the inventory thus reducing the wastages.
- Control work-in-process for optimum utilization of manpower, manage the capacity in man hour plan, storage space, loading ability etc.
- Support in cost control measures.
Planning and scheduling inclusive but not limited to:
1. Manage incoming container & local Fruits & Vegetables consignment un-stuffing, QC checks and storage to chiller rooms. Determine, track & justify the resources ( space, equipment , manpower ) and cycle time required for each task .
- receiving, stock level monitoring of packaging material and storage.
- outgoing deliveries schedule ( SKUs and quantity , customers, loading & delivery timing )
2. Monitoring of daily on hand consolidated stock level and shelf-life vs projected sales offtake. Regularly update sales and procurement for any ageing and slow-moving items.
3. Tracking of manpower & equipment efficiency, production cycle time, output and wastages, and downtime.
4. Implement CAPA to address issues or shortfall stated in (3).
5. Planning and scheduling for all daily order fulfilment and operation activities which includes ( but not limited to ) receiving, packing, sorting , picking, and loading for deliveries, cleaning & maintenance works.
Requirement:
- Diploma, preferably with 2-3 years’ working experience in planning.
- Good planning and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work well with staff from all levels.
- Able to work in fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
