Pipeline Business Analyst & Program Manager

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Pipeline Business Analyst & Program Manager to join our Group Innovation team on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Executive Director – Portfolio Strategy & Innovation, the primary purpose of this position is to support and coordinate the management of this iNova pipeline, including the NPD governance model (iGate/iLaunch, with support to various related sub-processes), business analytics and reporting to ensure efficient resource deployment and enable effective and accurate decision making


Key accountabilities include:

1. iGate & NPD portfolio process management

  • Manage iGate executive meeting calendar, agenda, pre-reads, scorecards, TM1 uploads, etc. for both central and delegated model iGates, all iGate documentation, storage and workflow (Cloud-based SharePoint and TM1). Gatekeeper for iGate Stage gate process – ensure templates are populated correctly and ready for iGate executive review and approve. Relay decisions and outcomes from iGate executive to relevant parties across regions
  • Manage all iGate communications across all regions and evolve iGate process in line with company needs as needed and work with project managers and innovation leads to populate aggregate iNova NPI portfolio tracker, Project status reports (RAG review) and NPD grids. Arrange ad hoc iGate training as/when required across regions
  • Coordinator for pre-iGate Triage forums. This includes agenda build, coordinating inputs, generating reports building presentation decks, sending pre-reads and follow up actions/minutes and support for other iGate/iLaunch related sub-processes with SME’s and process owners (e.g. change control process, Veeva artwork process, NPD claims support process, etc.

2. Pipeline Analysis & Reporting

  • Accountable for managing all new product pipeline data (project and financial details) across all iNova systems and platforms (TM1, Power BI, Portfolio Tracker, 5 year NPD grids, etc.). Ensure timely uploads and ongoing accuracy checking, working with relevant data owners and stakeholders. Generate regular pipeline reports for various stakeholders and meetings (ED- Strategy & Innovation; iET, TPG board meeting, Innovation team WIGO’s, to aid decision making and resource planning.
  • Coordinator for regular NPD Prioritisation Reviews. This includes agenda build, coordinating inputs, generating reports, building presentation decks, sending pre-reads and follow up actions/minutes, troubleshoot as required – e.g. pacing of NPD across years, regions and markets; gaps x region, NPD launch year bottle necks; pacing of iGates fortnightly; resource gaps/insufficiency, etc.

3. Innovation Software Systems & IT platform management

  • Manage current system (PTT/TM1) including TM1 uploads from iGate templates with IO and finance leads, checking data integrity of iGate metrics in TM1 and reports with IO’s/Finance leads, generate relevant NPD portfolio reports and metrics. Migrate current systems into new software solutions and manage ongoing and manage SharePoint repository for iGate process and documents (including electronic workflow)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing multiple OTC/healthcare projects from a project management and program management perspective


Other key requirements for this role include:

  • Project Management qualifications
  • MS Project software or similar
  • NPI portfolio software or similar
  • Process management and Coordination
  • Business Analytics skills
  • IT acumen
  • Innovation process experience and skills
