Responsibilities:
- Responsible and lead a team of product buyers action related on purchasing, planning, negotiating, on-time delivery of product plan.
- Managing inventory targets and take active steps to make sure inventory remains well-stocked, cost effective to fulfill customer orders and maximize returns within company goals
- Work and liaise closely with sales team/customers to support sales and product related activities.
- Maintains system accuracy and product information relevant and updated.
- Any other duties assign by the supervisor.
- Formulate and implement plans and programs by focusing on customer/supplier product issues, market forecasts, industry trends and technological advancements
- Engage and develop strong relationships with the focus supplier management through effective communication and motivational techniques
- Facilitate ongoing focus supplier reviews to ensure exceptional performance to the annual business plan
- Work with the focus suppliers and Marketing Communication team to develop collateral materials, advertising, newsletters and web-based offerings
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in on Mechanical / Electronics Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience with Supplier Marketing, Distribution or Asset/Inventory Management of which 2 years of managing a team
- Experience in electronics components is an added advantage
- Exhibits strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills
- Good presentation skills
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office Applications and Excel skills
- Working Knowledge of electronics components in passive product will be an added advantage
